Saturday afternoon, 43 degrees and drizzly. Listening to some JVG whilst typing away, restoring contact with RGNC. Have a small and irritating confession to make. Driving around the other day I heard a song by Michael McDonald, Greg's favorite, and...well, I liked it. It didn't make me want to heave, even though the guy is from st. lose. And then, a string of songs from the Michael McDonald infested past began to assail me, and again, well..., I wasn't bothered. I even like some of them at this point. I don't know what's happening. Have I done something wrong? Is this normal? Am I starting to show signs of cracking up from the stress? What happens if this doesn't stop and I actually hop over to amazon and order some recording by this guy?

Was back in The 4 last week for a few days. My nephew informed me that he is now able to play 'Smoke on the Water' on his coronet. I was very busy with some gigs before good crowds that week. On Friday and Saturday nights we had around 400 come through the door at...church. I was chanting for the Holy Week services leading up to Orthodox Pascha (easter) which as many may already know, arrives on a different date that that celebrated by the western churches. Long Story. Anyway, nobody got hurt, I wasn't yelled at, so it went ok. But it's a little rough at times becuase it's all acapella. No guitar to hide behind, no break for pie, just singing. Sometimes in Greek, even.

More later. Be good. Christ is Risen!
