In Thessaloniki Greece tonight after 5 days on Mt. Athos at a couple of monasteries. To Meteora dn Athens in the next few days. Lots of good scenery and food. Interesting music too. Visiting lots of old Churches and historical religious sites. Can't send pictures from here. but I will when I get back. They are getting ready for the Olympics here, and in true Greek style, waiting to well past the last minute. I would be suprised if they get everything finished in time. Its a busy trip, always seem to be on the move. This town, Thessaloniki was the second most important city in the Byzantine Roman Empire after Constantinople. Its has about a million folks and all the noise and bustle to prove it. Amazing old architecture in the Churches. More later.
be good.

Well, friends and Neighbors, it has begun. Summer that is. Not in an official manner, of course, but Memorial Days has come and gone, most schools are out and the Big Three (June, July and August) are under way. Trips, treks and travels are on the horizon, if not already undertaken. Other than Mr. Mark, who is currently gettin' all Greeced up, what adventures await the RGNC? Do tell, please. And don't hesitate to update on recent happenin's, neither.

Be happy and careful.
