It's snowing right now and the roads are beginning to look somewhat questionable. This is a matter of concern as Greg and Joe and I are scheduled to hit the trail for nyc at 1pm this very afternoon. We have been told that we will be gone for a week and that we will be very busy. This is how it is for us now. People arrange our travel, lodging, meetings, meals, "time off", and if they thought they could get a way with it, our restroom breaks. Life as captives of people who know so much better than we do. These are the same people running the institution that we call home (as a joke we call it that), and who decided that there will be no breakfast served in the cafeteria this morning. Why? President's Day. Doesn't matter if you've already payed for it, doesn't matter if they know full well that you have nowhere else to go. You see, they run the show, and they don't give a rat's @ss about you or what you think because this is their tree and we, on the other hand, are all just bunch of squirrels trying to get a nut. Squirrels who cough up over a grand each month to live here.

I do not want to go on this stupid little dog and pony show of a trip these morons have planned for us. Have I made myself clear?

Time to listen to a little Del McCoury now...be good.
